Tomb Raider Legend PC vs Series X

Hi again dear gamer I thought to just repeat again this brief review we previously had about this game on Series X and if you remember last time we spoke about how good this game is on PC and how that I said you should never play this on console. Before we go into more depth on this I want to mention first that I am fully aware that there is no modified code for this game for Series X and all latest console hardware even for last gen hardware. So before that fanboy blood boils up (if you are one) this is rather to highlight the importance of enhancing the back-compat experience on console because if you are new to these old games and see them on your PSstore and MSstore thinking you could try them and have a good time it comes at a sad cost even if you have the most powerful of consoles. Lastly before we have a look at this I believe modern consoles are well equipped to have produced the same result however they are stuck in emulating the game code of their predecessors (PS3 Xbox 360. Lets begin:

I wont say much but just bring on videos captured on PC and also on console so it will be you just reviewing this with your own eyes. There may be some limitations in resolution and or performance due to YouTube and Wix transcoding but I don't think it should deter your viewing experience that that much. These vids are already on our YouTube channel but to save you time and bring context to the subject matter I just put them here.

Now lets focus more on PC with a couple more videos:

No need for story because its the same. Now to conclude you will notice I did say widescreen off and on its because I forgot to turn on widescreen as it makes the game even nicer on PC. So the whole point of this video is to emphasize how sad it is for masterpiece classics on console because unless otherwise they can never be scaled to modern hardware ,unless maybe if its to be a remaster or remake. It was good of Xbox to try do fps boost and HDR on and off for these legacy titles to atleast try to boost them up. Unfortunately like we said before things slowed down in that area not clear why.

You don't need a sophisticated gpu to run this game this way its just that the way it was built for PC was worthwhile. Its smooth, clear, sharp and crisp and you can go on higher with fps while all that you don't have on console.

Cheers.
