Graphics
Very well optimised especially for a PC port which judging by today's weird trends one is led to think it would have been another bad PC game. The game is not a vram guzzler and can be pushed to its max at different resolutions obviously depending on your hardware. With this said I still think even with an old gpu and cpu you will still at least manage to play at 60fps which is more than enough for this game as it's not fast paced action game neither is it shooter. So yes textures look great at a minimal ask from your vram and overall presentation is nice and sweet.
Gameplay
I found it easily relatable as my first PC game (Dragon Lore II) was synonymous to this gameplay. It won't break your controller or mouse and keyboard in any way plus you can play this game as any normal third person game with the exception of turn based play during combat. So it's not strictly mouse and keyboard and having to press a button to move you player as some streamers normally show it to be which i find to be the reason why some people think its not an interesting game. Camera viewing angles are very unique and you basically can choose the way you want to play it at least from a third person perspective.
Story
It's the primary reason to play the game and even though i haven't played much of the game excerpt clearing the goblins camp, helping the grove and having found Karlach, the game is packed with mystery. You don't know what to expect and you don't know which decision is best. Nothing is obvious which in my opinion makes me say i think this could probably the best rpg game since Cyberpunk and in a long time.
I came a bit late to the party and had been hesitant to play this game primarily because of what i had seen and perceived its gameplay to be but after having got it for myself its fair to say i see why people voted this as the game of the year. I did want Spider-Man2 to win but if you think of it games like Spider-Man, Batman etc are not knew ideas at all as they find their basis in comics movies etc. What Larian did here is creativity and innovation, For example, not matter how good a Spiderman game can be you know what to expect. The blueprint is already set with Baldur's Gate its simply art and love combined and this is coming from someone who had not played any previous titles from the same game and studio.
I invite you to checkout TikTok as i spend most of my time there posting gameplay, findings and so forth regarding the game.
