A Plague Tale: Requiem (First impressions)

Hello again dear reader welcome yet again to Subjective reviews were we air some of our personal opinions regarding the gaming we are experienceing in our addictive but wondeful hobby. Today we have just received this beautiful title from Asobo Studios and after spending approximately 4 hours lets findout the early impressions GGS.

Graphics

The game stayed true to its medieval asthetic look and with this rendition it excels more in the enviromental detail. There is more detail and life within the enviroment as opposed to the previous very narrow and slightly blurry in some instances enviromantel form factor. Certaainly i can see the developers took their time to make the NPC detail relevent, the objects around Hugo and Amecia are remarkeably clear. I have none much to add on but praises based on the ealry hours i have spent on the game. With that said take a look at that roasted meat just to give you and idea of how impressive the visuals are..

Gameplay

The game does stay tru to its identiy with the first but what i like from this sequel is you dont get that staright forward execution of enemies in stealth as you would get in the first. I t does not make it very obvious for you upon what to do though still stealthy yes it allows for some guerilla attacks so to type. So it kind of keeps you second guessing per scene you deal with and leaves it upon you to calciulate and decide the best course of action. The gamepaly however is kind of in a way hamperd by the 30fps presentation you get if you are a 30fps heathen however it did not bother me much. I am yet to discover more of what instore but based on what i came accross i have no compmaints

Story

Not much for me to say here as i am still at the preliminary stages of the game but it does relay from the previous game well with the whole Hugo and the Macula issue. The vibe i am getting here is a very rocky parth ahead for the two protagonists and there is that captivating element as to what the story will envelop itself to be.

Finally I would say its a really nice unique game, who would think rats would be so interesting and such a menace. beautiful game with more detail tha the first though may have really needed a 60fps feel to smothen the experince out but nonethless its a great game instore for us. Be sure to join me on Twitch for us to discover more and expereince together.

pros

good graphics detail

improved gameplay mechanics and executions

cons

the curse of 30fps

I really need to play the first one it just didn't seem like my cup of tea. But now with the hype of the sequel maybe I need to step out of my comfort zone on it.
