To me one of the most interesting focus in history was in this title. This game I would safely say was at a Junction where it had the traditional elements of AC and the new gameplay play styles.
What I like about it is that it took a new turn from not only being a strictly stealthy game moving over to a more of "its up to you" approach. Whether you wanted to be stealthy or not wasn't really a problem as opposed to the older traditional titles which would normally fail you the mission if you weren't stealthy. Combat system also evolved but not fully to my liking as I found out that Edward Kenway was more fluid in combat as opposed to Bayek.
The setting was just amazing, graphics were great as well and character models. Its sad to note that if you enjoyed being a Pirate you wont be much of one in this one (trying to do no spoilers). It is a fairly a mixed bag of expectations for me after coming from the incredible titles such as Black Flag. I really liked the story and side missions as everything was meaningful and not sidetracking.
To be honest in an imaginary world I wish Ubisoft could make sequels just to give more to an exciting piece of history rather than annual new releases. I don't have much to take away from the game apart from audio bugs here and there which of course are largely taken care of if you update your game software. Combat really needed some form of tweaking as it was a bit clumsy trying to focus between multiple targets during combat. The shield was a fine addition. Gear and loot system is not as easy as you have to hunt and sometimes experience hordes of enemy waves for just a few pieces of wood or metal.
Overall I would say it was a good game for me not far from the authentic AC play experience but rather adding a few features to it. What do you think if you have played the game let me know your thoughts and if you can subscribe and support as it would be much appreciated. It isn't my views that matter its really ours collectively.
