Hi Guys just a brief quick account on COD. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II really looks as good as MW 2019 and seems to be more of a stretch of 2019 visually in different settings i.e same graphics but expressed in different environments. This is not to take away from the game by any means as its tradition COD games always look good and photorealistic upon any generation since 2007 however I did not see a jaw dropping next gen leap in visuals. I cannot ask for more regarding COD visually because gaming still has to remain unreal & animation and with that mentioned I think COD reached the climax long ago but bringing in visual tweaks to consoles such as fov and fidelity cas which are great additions in the console space to enhance the overall graphics presentation.
What makes this game great is actually the story and some of the gameplay mechanics e. g when you run out of bullets with your assault weapon you quickly switch to your side arm pistol, this transition feels great and saves you from the reload choke. Also the underwater enemy take downs and the incredible Gaz mission wherein you transition from first person to third while driving vehicles something we have seen from uncharted dropped into the cod universe (can't be specific don't want to spoil it for you) . The story also has a good longevity to it, it stays relevant and I love the switch between different teams at different perspectives per and within missions fusing the story well.
For me It's by far the best COD in a long time not just because its the latest game but it brings about new gameplay mechanics thereby defying the cod norms of play and general shooter gameplay mechanics.
This game unlike the old Modern Warfare 2 of 2009 sets the stage for familiar events related to Makarov 2009 but with a different approach to plot and new characters. Take care and you do you.
