Hitman

In this post I am just going to give a combined generic personal review on the three Hitman games that came out and at the moment I have not yet finished Hitman 3. We must note that my focus will be on the recent hitman trilogy starting from 2016. The first was the 2016 release which came out in episodes and was the 6th mainline entry of the Hitman franchise and the first installment of the world of assassination trilogy taking place after 6 years of the events of Hitman Absolution trilogy.

This series was developed by IO Interactive and came out as a very visually polished stealth tactical game. Most of the times and always the first impression you get from a game is the visuals before you get the overall feel of the game. Hitman has this clean look and very technical approach when it comes to accomplishing your mission. There is definitely no one way of going about your mission in this game and it carries a lot of replayability value per-mission and also as an overall experience.

In Hitman world of assassination games there is a variety of objectives that you have to checklist as you do your missions for example if you killed your target with poison you can approach all this differently by killing the same target disguised and choking them. Much can be said about the variety of approaches but there is a lot of them. This makes the game so much fun because it increases your curiosity challenges your thinking and patience too.

In this post I just shared with you a few original playthroughs of the original release but these are not even the real missions themselves but rather your training that happens in the early stages of the first game. I want to give assurance to you who may have not played this game before and are wondering if its worth it and my answer is a definite yes. I think at the moment its the best stealth game on the market. Remember Hitman games are not strictly stealthy games but rather the approach to playing the games for best results requires one to be stealthy. I like how that even if you do a very compromising action within a mission you can still rectify it by reducing the alert levels of your enemies through hiding or even eliminating the nearby threat with some traditionally stealthy games this would be a bust.

What stands out for me in this trilogy is the visual presentation, story and tactical approach to playing it. Its absolutely a gorgeous game especially the latest release Hitman 3. Its those games that give you the impression of photo realism. The nature of the games is very unique and although they are not RPG or very vast open world they give you a lot of channels to playing a single mission making it big and very worthwhile in terms of length. So even though you may get a few locations per game it doesn't mean the game is small. The only problem I have with this game is the player movement which is a bit stiff though in Hitman 3 there is a slight improvement but still It seems like your character is very tense when moving. Agent 47 definitely gives you the impression that his a robot or cyborg, very straight walk and stiff definitely not something attractive but then again not something to deter you from the fun.

Overall this is a memorable series one which I feel did not get much attention in terms of awards but clearly deserving in terms of visuals and technical achievements. I love how the AI is very much on point and not out of touch with the environment. For example Have you noticed in some games when doing stealth take down the nearby opponent wont hear how loud his partner is crying as you take them down. Obviously we know they not human and that's what makes it gaming however is can appear very clumsy but in Hitman there seemed to have struck a fair balance in terms of how the AI responds to whatever you are doing in the area though not perfect but very good.

This is a very impressive series one you ought to play and enjoy in many ways. I also believe the visuals will hold up for many years to come. My conclusion is that its a brilliant technical achievement worth your many hours of gaming. Your thoughts will be more nice. cheers.
