Nothing looks different from the 2020 PS4 title unless if your eyes can 400% zoom in to see differences. You do have the ability to now use other skins an also dress your characters differently.
Gameplay
Largely same excerpt with the ability to now play the game over 60fps thanks to the PS5 being able to do 120hz with VRR at 1440p. Remember only with VRR capable screen and enabled via performance mode and turning on your VRR in system settings.
Story
Same though you can play the following modes: Speedrun and No return roguelike whereby you fight enemies at random encounters which is not my thing but its something.
Summary:
So straight to the point. The Last of Us Part II Remastered is an upgrade you can do without. People are simply buying PC settings for $10.What i mean here is how you tweak and fiddle with game graphics on PC is primarily what's been added here. To reiterate you get to play at 1440p above 60fps provided you have a screen that supports 120hz and VRR. Fidelity is 4k 30, base performance mode is 1440p 60fps.Load times have improved. The game was always beautiful and had incredible gameplay and did not warrant a "paid remaster nor remake upgrade" . Visually differences to the eye are zero unless your eyes can 400% zoom in. So should you buy it its your choice. Should such practices from video game companies be encouraged no, but shill media will do to keep the sponsorships and review codes incoming.
